About the Journal

The Journal of Historical, Cultural and Social Sciences (JHCSS) is an international, interdisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing rigorous scholarship across the broad fields of the humanities and social sciences. Guided by an international editorial board composed of distinguished scholars, the journal upholds stringent standards of academic integrity, methodological rigor, and ethical review practices. All manuscripts undergo a thorough and impartial double-blind evaluation to ensure fairness, scholarly depth, and methodological soundness, and must be original with a duplication rate not exceeding 20%. Through its wide disciplinary coverage and commitment to academic excellence, JHCSS seeks to foster global scholarly exchange and promote research that advances critical, empirical, and theoretical understanding of the historical, cultural, social, and institutional forces shaping human societies. In doing so, the journal provides a comprehensive platform for original research, theoretical analyses, critical reviews, and interdisciplinary studies.

Authorship issues or disputes

In the case of an authorship dispute during peer review or after acceptance and publication, the Journal will not be in a position to investigate or adjudicate. Authors will be asked to resolve the dispute themselves. If they are unable the Journal reserves the right to withdraw a manuscript from the editorial process or in case of a published paper raise the issue with the authors’ institution(s) and abide by its guidelines.
