Financial and Strategic Analysis of Ili Chuanning Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Using the Harvard Analytical Framework

This study takes Ili Chuanning Biotechnology Co., Ltd. as the research object. Based on its financial reports from 2023 to the first half of 2025 and related public information, a comprehensive analysis is conducted using the Harvard Analytical Framework from four dimensions: strategy, accounting, finance, and prospects. The research indicates that the company maintains a leading position in the antibiotic intermediate sector by leveraging Xinjiang's resource cost advantages and large-scale fermentation capacity, achieving steady growth in operating revenue and net profit in 2023–2024. However, performance experienced a phased decline in the first half of 2025, influenced by factors such as price fluctuations of traditional products, a drop in capacity utilization, and slow progress in its synthetic biology new business. Financial analysis shows that the company's debt repayment capacity continues to improve and its profitability foundation remains solid, but asset operation efficiency has significantly declined, and cash flow quality is under pressure. In terms of prospects, the company is actively advancing its "biotechnology fermentation + synthetic biology" dual-engine strategy, yet faces multiple challenges including industry cyclical fluctuations, a sharp increase in R&D investment, and policy uncertainties. Finally, this paper proposes targeted recommendations focusing on stabilizing traditional business, accelerating new business development, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimizing capital structure, aiming to provide references for the company's sustainable growth and investor decision-making.
